As some of you may know, lent 2014 starts tomorrow. And i finally decided what to do for lent: I’m giving up on…this blog! For 40 days and 40 nights, i’ll not use it. So, don’t be confused, i’m still alive, just offline.
Instead of spending countless hours on tumblr, i’ll add more prayer to my life and i hope it’ll help me to focus on my relationship with God. I’m really looking forward to it, to be honest!
I don’t understand why people just go to music festivals to get drunk I mean there are other places to drink all you want that don’t cost £210
Just in case you think homophobia is not real or not dangerous, here are just a few of the things i heard people say over the last few days:
"She’s not lesbian, somebody just need to rape her." (Promoting sexual violence)
"I’m sure he would change his mind if someone beat him up." (Promoting physical violence)
"They should publish a list with every gay person on it, so you can protect your children." (Promoting emotional violence)
These statements were made by real, grown-up people with normal jobs.I live in a first-world country. Homophobia is not something unusual or a third-world problem. It’s everywhere. And it scares me.
